The Toyota Wessels Institute for Manufacturing Studies (TWIMS) and the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) will be hosting a Leadership Seminar on Tuesday 20 June 2023.
The Toyota Wessels Institute for Manufacturing Studies (TWIMS) and the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) have been working in close partnership on the development and delivery of the unique GIBS Manufacturing MBA since 2019, with 96 graduates of the programme to date.
Invited guests will hear Andrew Kirby, President and CEO of Toyota SA Motors and Sunday Times 2022 Business Leader of the Year, talk about leading the recovery of Toyota SA Motors after the devastation suffered from the flooding in KwaZulu-Natal in April 2022.
Andrew Kirby will share the leadership challenges experienced in this crisis and reflect on the personal and organisational lessons learnt about resilience and thriving in deeply disruptive times.
