TWIMS African Short Course Scholarship Programme
African Scholarship for TWIMS short courses
In recognition of the costs associated with travel and our eagerness to create an environment where all our neighbouring countries are represented and provide valuable insight, we will be making two free seats available on each of our seven Executive Short Courses in 2021, to African citizens. Our courses are between three and four days duration each and the savings on each course will range from R15,000 to R20,000, depending on the length of each course.
Our Executive Short Courses have a broad African application and our African Short Course Scholarship Programme (ASCSP) will ensure that our courses are made more accessible to our African compatriots looking to improve their manufacturing management skills.
Any African citizen presently filling a management position in a manufacturing or manufacturing support organisation outside of South Africa is eligible to apply for the ASCSP. This can be done through the link below. You will need to submit a short motivation letter and a brief CV. Applications will be adjudicated three weeks before the start of each course, and the two successful candidates will be notified of their acceptance immediately thereafter. Only applications made through the link below will be eligible for acceptance.
The decision of the scholarship adjudication panel will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of applications made.
Prospective scholarship students will need to complete an online application at the link below.
In order to qualify applicants must:
1. Be a citizen of and working in an African country outside of South Africa.
2. Presently working as a manager in a manufacturing or manufacturing support organisation (including government departments).
3. Submit a brief CV and motivational letter through the online application
Please note that TWIMS will not accept emailed or physical scholarship applications. Any applications delivered outside of the online scholarship portal will be discarded immediately. The decision of the scholarship adjudication panel will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of applications made.
