Facilitated by Khavitha Singh,Toyota Head of Lean Management at TWIMS, this course bridges theory with real-world practice in the African manufacturing and supply chain context.
The Lean Supply Chain Management Executive Short Course (26–28 August & 10 September 2025, TWIMS Campus) equips leaders with the tools to extend lean principles across manufacturing supply chains for greater competitiveness, resilience, and efficiency. Participants will explore key concepts such as Just-In-Time, Kaizen, Lean Leadership, vendor development, and Enterprise Value Stream Mapping—while critically assessing global case studies of both success and failure. Through seminars, simulations, and a factory visit, the program provides a hands-on experience in applying lean methodologies to optimise value chains, reduce waste, and build stronger supplier partnerships.
Key takeaway:
“Effective supply chain competitiveness requires more than efficiency—it demands lean leadership, strategic partnerships, and end-to-end value chain innovation.”
