Responsibilities:

1. Provide research support on TWIMS’ various research projects and other knowledge sharing and/or generation activities (e.g. working papers, seminars, executive short courses)
2. Undertake the successful application of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies as per the requirements of TWIMS’ individual research projects
3. Undertake data analysis and associated database management as required
4. Compile and complete the related statistical testing of research findings
5. Complete industry and academic interviews
6. Write news blogs and content for TWIMS’ social media posts and website
7. Write sections of reports and academic papers
8. Support the preparation of presentation slide decks
9. Provide hosting support for academic and industry events on the TWIMS campus, including monthly seminars, Executive Short Courses, and open evenings

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce in Economics & Management from UKZN 2017 – 2019

Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from UKZN March 2020 – December 2020

Masters of Commerce in Economics (coursework) from UKZN 2021 – Current (Coursework completed, Research Dissertation in progress)
