Luke Muller
Research Manager
Responsibilities:
Luke is the Research Manager at TWIMS, ensuring that robust qualitative and quantitative research methodologies are applied. He is responsible for guiding and completing research projects for internal and external clients. This includes data analysis and the statistical testing of research findings.
Specialisations:
Luke’s specialisations include micro and macroeconomics, development economics, and trade and investment within Sub-Saharan Africa. He also has a keen interest in multinational enterprise activities across industries and countries.
Background:
Luke has been a consultant for development projects and policy papers within South Africa. He was involved in the development of the National Ports Plan, and the planning of several South African investments and incentive strategies. After completing his studies, he completed an internship at the Human Sciences Research Council. He has also lectured both macro and microeconomics.
Qualifications:
MCom (Masters) in Economics (University of KwaZulu-Natal)
BCom (Honours) in Economics (University of KwaZulu-Natal)
BSc in Economics and Geography (University of KwaZulu-Natal)
