TWIMS MBA (Manufacturing Focus) Research Grant Application

Applications close midnight 26th of March

TWIMS is delighted to announce the introduction of an MBA Research Grant for eligible GIBS MBA (Manufacturing Focus) candidates.

Overview

All GIBS MBA candidates are required to complete a 15,000-18,000 word Applied Business Analysis and Research Report in partial fulfilment of their degree. To complete this process, students must select a suitable topic, prepare a research proposal, carry out independent research and write up the research project in accordance with a defined format. The research project is a formal investigation, conducted independently over several months, on a focused area addressing a clear question or defined problem.

In recognition of the costs associated with completing the Applied Business Analysis and Research Report, TWIMS is offering an MBA (Manufacturing Focus) Research Grant to the value of between R20,000 and R40,000, depending on nature of the research project.

Only self-funded students or partially self-funded candidates can apply for the research grant provided they meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, their Applied Business Analysis and Research Report must have a focus on a manufacturing related question or defined problem.
